I have never written a review but this experience was a different story. Sadly words will never capture the experience we had with these immense professionals. Prestige catering catered our relatively unusual wedding. They were a level above and beyond. We would be fairly critical and observant, ,however, we have never had a better experience with a company. Incidentally, when you are working with these people you are not working with a company at all, but rather you are working with a family who get to know you and work with you.
Money is not what they are here for. They are legitimately here for the love of what they do and they only get involved in what excites them and I mean that. They were an absolute joy to work with, highly professional, reliable, cool, calm, collected, quirky, colourful, knowledgeable and the food was stellar. We were absolutely blown away by James Grimes. I can't emphasize that enough, a quirky character who is exceptionally talented. This guy blew it out of the park for us. He went way above and beyond with the wedding and helped us with so many other things. The guy went way above and beyond. His team were out of this world and the food isn't far off the Chapter One sphere. By far one of the best experiences of this wedding was working with James. Even with the food aside it was a great experience working with him. The list was endless on what this guy did for us. I can't emphasize that enough. When you have no experience in organising an event or navigating through it, James is a safe pair of hands who also blows it out of the water. We are forever in debt and very grateful. When organising an event it's easy to want to control everything. Our advice: Come with ideas but ease off and trust in James. Let him do his thing, he's a magician. Trust me the stress is less and it pays off - he knows what he is doing so even when you're apprehensive on something, let him go full steam ahead, he will surprise you. An extraordinary experience and far more than a caterer. They are truly artists, wonderful people, exceptional chefs, colourful, cultured, knowledgeable, experienced. Magicians (who genuinely care and are working in your interests). I can't recommend them highly enough. The second best experience of the wedding after the wedding itself.
